Statement
After becoming aware of the recent
history of the people of Burma,
I began to research the countless instances of human rights abuses in the country. I am specifically interested in the mode of reprisal that is being used to improve the situation. Upon developing a more accurate analysis of this, I become more aware of how essential the arts are to the analysis of humankind. Upon this realization, I become aware of how essential the analysis of humankind is to our very survival. The artwork presents dialogue of peaceful resolution to humanitarian crises, contemporary communication, and of the human spirit and its motion towards happiness.
